Michelle Ule Short Bio
Long-time Bible study leader and genealogist Michelle Ule is a graduate of UCLA and the biographer of both Mrs. Oswald Chambers and Lettie Cowman (author of Streams in the Desert). The author of six other published historical fiction works and a contributor to Utmost Ongoing: Reflections on the Legacy of Oswald Chambers, she also is a blogger. She lives in northern California with her family.

Longer Author Bio
Inspirational writer Michelle Ule is a native of Southern California. She graduated from UCLA where she wrote for the UCLA Daily Bruin.
She is the biographer of Baker Book Publishing’s Mrs. Oswald Chambers: The Woman Behind the World’s Bestselling Devotional (October 2017). She’s also an essayist in Discovery House’s Utmost Ongoing: Reflections on the Legacy of Oswald Chambers (August 2017).
She published Overflowing Faith: Lettie Cowman and Streams in the Desert, a biography, in June 2023.
Michelle is the author of five inspirational historical novellas and two novels. Her debut novella, “The Dogtrot Christmas,” was published in Barbour Publishing’s A Log Cabin Christmas Collection. The collection appeared on The New York Times bestseller list on October 2, 2011.
Three of her novellas have appeared in ECPA bestselling collections.
A longtime Bible study leader and genealogist, Michelle works at a literary agency and loves to travel. She lives in northern California with her family.
